RatRig is working to get there, but at the moment the standard configuration is not the same as a turnkey, complete kit. Some items must be purchased elsewhere.
- Power Cord - You will need to obtain a power cord with a plug to connect your machine to the wall. We do not supply them because we ship worldwide and different countries use different plug types.
- Additional printed parts (LAN/IEC adapter, backspina/groove/tab for cable management on the electronics panel) - these cable management parts are not essential and can be printed later.
- IEC/LAN connectors - these are optional and must be purchased by the user.
- Cable Crimping - You may need a crimping tool to assemble your electronics. Learn more about cable crimping here.
- Optional electronics panel and surrounding panels - these are intended to be sourced locally by the user, DXF files with size, shape and hole patterns for the panels are provided for this purpose. It is recommended to use 4mm thick polycarbonate sheets (ATTENTION: Thickness over 4mm is not recommended as it will affect the XY motors).
- Fixings for mounting electronics to the back panel (however, 8 nylon standoffs are included for this purpose)
- Depending on the machine size and where you want to install the control board, extension cables may be needed for the following components: BLTouch, SuperPinda, Hotend Heater and Thermistor, Limit Switch - these components come with short cables, and at the moment we don't have any extensions for them. We recommend purchasing the following cables:
To expand the cabling of your Bltouch:
1x 22AWG cable 5 conductors 1500mm
To connect power supply, SSR and board:
3x 16AWG cable 2 conductors 500mm
